“By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.” — John 13:35
Connecting people and changing lives: that is what we do at Fellowship. Whether it is through our Mission in Thonotosassa, Adult Bible Fellowships, Growth and Support Groups such as Divorce care, Grief Share, Financial Peace, our Bible Institute, Youth and Kids' ministries, or our World Outreach through Faith Promise, you have consistently demonstrated your faith in Christ by seeking to connect people to life change in Christ.
The Lord has blessed us with vision, great facilities and resources to accomplish His work. The classroom addition to the Fellowship Hall will soon be finished and we were able to do the entire $300,000 project debt free! This has been possible because of your recognition of God’s blessings in your life and your willingness to demonstrate generosity for the good of others.
Over the past several years, the church leadership has has evaluated and prayed over how to best continue and grow in our mission of reaching people. We have identified several key areas that are limiting us in from connecting people to life change in Christ.
The top five issues we have recognized are:
1 - Crowding in our hallways, lobby, restrooms, and kids check-in area on Sunday morning,
2 - Limited youth facilities in our portable classrooms,
3 - Kitchen facilities inadequate for our current meal ministry, particularly on Wednesday nights,
4 - The lack of an indoor facility for our kids’ AWANA game outreach, and
5 - The flooding problem at the south end of our main building.
We believe the Lord has given us a plan to build one facility that will address all of these needs and the limitations they impose upon our ministry connection and outreach.
The CONNECTING FELLOWSHIP generosity campaign will help us raise the needed funds to accomplish this vision, while incurring a minimum of debt.
We welcome you browse through our website to find more specifics about our future plans and the CONNECTING FELLOWSHIP Generosity Campaign.
The new multi-purpose Connection Center will serve as our main gathering facility, housing the lobby entrance, kids check-in, an indoor play area, and full-service café. The Connection Center will also serve as our primary venue for large meals and events.
Youth & Kids Ministry Improvements
We will drastically expand and improve our teen facilities. Younger kids will see a new check-in center, an indoor play area, and an indoor game area for our Awana program.
A new commercial quality kitchen will cater meals and events in the Connection Center. We will also add a new Café venue, which will provide further opportunities for people to connect and grow in Christ.
